New Year's Visit to the local Shrine;

*Went to the local shrine to make wishes for the New Year*

Many of the Japanese visit a shrine mainly from New Year's Day to 3rd. 

I also visited local shrine to pray for the safe year. 

I prayed  "good and healthy year 2014" for all of my blog friends as well.  

First shrine gate "torii, 鳥居".  We purify our hands before praying.

Second gate and long cue to the precinct.
